Happy Deepavali

Happy Deepavali folks! Have a fab time with the family, friends and all the good yummy food. If you're driving back to your hometown...have a safe drive. And for those staying on in KL, you can always pop by to Little India or Brickfields to soak up the Deepavali fun. This year, Pavilion KL is also a recommended spot for you to soak in the festive cheer!

Pavilion KL together with the brilliant students from Raffles College of Higher Education have whipped out a unique Deepavali display marrying tradition with fashion and luxury.
Aptly named ‘Stylish Beginnings’, this gown at Pavilion KL's  Fashion Avenue precint has more than 1,500 peacock feathers set across twelve long meters of silk. Hand-stitched to perfection by 10 students over 60 laborious hours, this live masterpiece’s long train and intricate detailing are designed to actualise the overall silhouette of a peacock.
Set in the mall’s main entrance, The Rising Mayur welcomes visitors. An extravagant beauty that has long been the symbol of royalty and immortality, the kolam measuring 26’ x 26’ is set to welcome and pour out blessings on everyone, with its glorious hues of green, crimson, royal blue and yellow.
Specially-designed by the talented students of Raffles College of Higher Education, the kolams were made using 586kg of hand-dyed rice and spices and took 35 students four days to complete.

Pavilion KL has also put together cultural performances and dances together with a line-up of fun and educational activities, to further accentuate the traditional values of this festive season.
