Movie Review: Finding Nemo 3D

I wrote about Finding Nemo 3D early this year (14th January 2012). It premiered in certain countries in September and it finally reaches our shores now! Grab your tickets as it screens on 8th November 2012.
Academy Award®-winning Best Animated Feature “Finding Nemo” returns to the big screen for the first time ever in thrilling Disney Digital 3D™. This stunning underwater adventure follows Nemo  (voice by Alexander Gould)who gets separated from his overly protective clownfish dad Marlin (voice by Albert Brooks). Nemo ends up in a dentist's fish tank somewhere in Sydney. Daddy Marlin embarks on the journey to look for his son with a new friend Dory (voice by Ellen DeGeneres), a friendly and absolutely forgetful Pacific Regal Blue Tang. Equally interesting is Nemo's daring escape attempts.

Having watched this over and over again since 2003, this is a classic must watch for me anytime of the year. And naturally a rerelease in 3D is a natural must watch for me and folks who count Finding Nemo as one of their all time faves from Pixar. The whole experience of watching Finding Nemo in 3D is rich, vibrant and vivid. There is more dept, making it almost real.
Its in your real that you want to reach out and touch them! I wont want to touch Bruce but its definitely a yes for Dory and Marlin.
This scene of travelling through the EAC with the sea turtles is extremely memorable with the 3D effects.
I went boink boink boink when they jumped over the jellyfish...

No spoilers...but do stay on till the end credits! Its worth the sitting through:D

I call this a bonus. Come in early and prior to Finding Nemo 3D and you'll be treated to Toy Story short "Partysaurus Rex". Enjoy Buzz, Woody and the gang as we never know if we're going to have Toy Story 4...

Partysaurus Rex sees Wallace Shawn’s beloved dinosaur character as the “party pooper” of the group. He ends up in the bathtub and soon becomes the life of a bathtub foam party. A super good laugh. and certainly very enjoyable. Will it form the basis for Toy Story 4? Nobody has uttered anything but yes, I certainly wouldn't mind Toy Story 4. And for now I contend myself ith Finding Nemo 3D and wait till Monsters Inc 3D screen in 2013!

Rant mode: I must admit that a couple of time I did take off my 3D glasses for the sake of comparing the effects (this I think is quite normal for movie goers) ...and unfortunately because the 3D glasses I had during the movie preview didn't seem like they were made for smaller faces and those wearing specs. It was perpetually slipping off unless one hand held on to the glasses:(
