Zespri® Whisky Sour

It can get a tad boring some days to just have a shot of whisky. So the mad scientist made her way to her playground. Looked around and decided why not a healthier and tastier Whisky Sour? A quickie under 5 minutes and its Zespri® Whisky Sour.

Ingredients (1 serving)
• 2 oz whisky (60ml)
• half a lemon
• 1 Zespri® kiwifruit (will be lovely to use a riper kiwifruit)
• 1 tsp sugar
• 2 cubes of ice

• Peel Zespri® kiwifruit and cube it. Keep one slice for decoration purposes.
• Squeeze lemon. 
• Mix lemon juice with sugar and whiskey. Shake well.
• Add ice and cubed kiwi.
• Shake well and pour into glass. Decorate with a slice or more of kiwifruits.

I opted to retain the kiwifruit fibre instead of straining it as I wanted a textured Whisky Sour. This taste amazingly like a thick slurpee except its healthy fibre from Zespri® kiwifruit.
