Eucerin Challenge for Clearer Skin

When I first heard the range 'Eucerin DermoPurifyer" the first thing that hit my mind was that this purifying range is not for me. After all at my age of 40, my concerns were hydration. Little did I know that the said range actually works even for my matured skin rather than just teens and young adults.

Took part in a one month challenge with Eucerin DermoPurifyer. Started off with a skin analysis to know my skin condition which I admit has been pretty oily of late. Probably a combination of late nights etc. The skin analysis was also essential because 30 days from the skin analysis and usage of the Eucerin DermoPurifyer range, I was to be tested again to see how my skin fared.
Keying in my age etc before my skin is being scanned.
Scan being done on various parts of the face. Its painless! Ignore my strange expression:P
Definitely painless as Red FM DJ Linora shows it.
The range that I tested for 30 days.
Eucerin DermoPurifyer Cleanser. One of my fave products in the range. Note that the product says that it removes sebum and makeup but I found some residue still present for my evening wash up and as such resorted to double cleansing with the cleanser. So I resorted to double cleansing with this cleanser in the evening. Surprisingly, it did a good job removing the makeup and all. Definitely wasn't too harsh for my skin since it is soap free.
Eucerin DermoPurifyer Scrub. I normally scrub my skin religiously twice a week (Wednesdays and Saturdays - I am a creature of habit). However during the skin analysis, Dr Siddique had advised me to scrub 3 times a week. The product is mild and lathers up a little when mixed with water. The lactic acid beads and micro particles were gentle on the skin and leaves the skin with a smooth clean feel.
Eucerin DermoPurifyer Toner serves to remove whatever residue that can be still present after cleansing. Honestly, even if there isn't any sebum and makeup residue, trust me there will be still residue from our water! The toner also server to tighten the pores and prepares the skin to be hydrated.
Eucerin DermoPurifyer Active Concentrate. Recommended to be used either in the morning or evening. I opted to use it in the morning before slapping on the moisturizer. Light weight and fast absorbing, the Active Concentrate helps to treat existing acne and prevent more acne from occurring. It also helps to improve the skin complexion...and I think it works. See the results at the bottom of this post!
No matter how oily your skin is, it still needs moisturization. The DermoPurifyer Hydrating Care is easily absorbed and does not leave an oily after feel. Skin felt hydrated and I could glide on my BB Cream easily on the face.
Eucerin DermoPurifyer Active Night Care. I was initially a lil uncertain whether the product will be sufficient for me especially when sleeping in the air conditioned room. Oil free and light, The Active Night Care was easily absorbed by the skin leaving no oily after feel. Woke up the next morning and skin was comfortable, neither oily nor dry. Skin feels rejuvenated. Certainly highly recommended!
Eucerin DermoPurifyer Cover Stick. Used it twice to get the menses related pimple to heal faster. Gave a relatively good cover up for my skin tone. Calmed the pimple and took it off within 2 days from my usual 4 days recovery time. In fact this is my buddy Kelly Chin's fave product from the Eucerin DermoPurifyer range.

Conclusion...Eucerin DermoPurifyer range will definitely be staying on in my beauty shelf. The 30 days trial / challenge revealed a clearer skin for me and a host of other bloggers. NOTE that during this challenge period, I was using only Eucerin DermoPurifyer products except for the following products:
Linora's reduction in sebum production and open pores.
Much less sebum within 30 days. The open pores were smaller too though not too visible as of 30 days. However with any skin care regime, results will show only between 8 to 12 weeks.
