Happy Malaysia Day

Happy Malaysia Day! Its 50 years of being Malaysia, a very colourful country that I call home. Home with lots of colourful people, culture and of course food! And if anyone were to ask me what will I call a Malaysian answer would swiftly be 'NASI LEMAK'.

Nasi lemak bungkus wrapped with banana leaf and newspaper as we fondly call Nasi Lemak Bungkus is always yummy. Plate it with a banana leaf, throw in an egg and some fried chicken...awesome!
Simple nasi lemak bungkus. Nothing to wash except for the spoon!
A complete meal with chicken, fried egg and sometimes even more side dishes:D

And with one plate of nasi lemak, washing is minimal. Now can you imagine how it is to wash 26,213 plates?

Over the weekend, JOY a leading dishwashing liquid in 31 countries created world history by breaking the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the longest line of washed plates in the world. An impressive 26, 213 washed plates circled the running tracks of Bukit Jalil National Stadium. In case you are wondering, that is a total distance of 6.8 kilometres.

On Saturday 14th September 2013, the folks at Proctor & Gamble treated  Malaysians from all walks of life to the nation’s favourite dish – Nasi Lemak. Plates used to serve the dish were then collected back, washed with the one bottle of JOY 800ml and lined up along the stadium track!

Interestingly, the new world record was achieved with just one single 800ml bottle of JOY. Upon completion, there is still JOY left in the bottle! Newly launched, the innovative product hails each Wonder Drop™ as the secret behind its success.  With five times more grease-cutting power versus other trusted brands, JOY can cut through even 100% grease, making the dreary chore of dishwashing more manageable.

JOY is available in three variants – Refreshing Lemon, Sparkling Lime and AntiBac, at recommended retail price of RM4.95 for 250ml bottle, RM13.95 for 800ml bottle and refill packs at RM3.50 for 200ml, and RM9.95 for 600ml. This revolutionary product will be available at all retail stores natiowide beginning 1st October 2013. Grab your bottle OK? Make your life easier when you have to do dishes after your favourite meal of nasi lemak
