Shalom's 10th Divaday

Finally managed to piece together Shalom's birthday Divaday picnic with her pals after the last few weeks of intense travelling that both Tasha and I had to do. Shalom turned 10, Cleo is 9 and this is in fact the 7th year that our kids are celebrating their birthdays together. This year, we have Bibi who turned 4 in November to join us too...as they say the more the merrier.

Picnic started with a very wet and rainy Sunday though the sun came out close to 10am and gave the kids a chance to run around a little. Reality was the drizzle did not bother Shalom and she was happily walking around in the drizzle:( Breakfast of nasi lemak and brownies for humans - thanx Lilian and Tasha.

Furkids had their share of homemade treats - cookies, cakes and more cakes. Tasha made them some beef lung jerkies too! And its a birthday so a birthday cake is a must. I am hopeless at decorating cakes so its the same style again with cream cheese:P

Its never easy to have proper pics with furkids. So its a quickie one with whatever tricks and treats that we can use to get them to focus.
Rather fearful that the cake will be smashed like one particular year when we had a freak incident of the hubster stepping on the cake box when we delivered the cake and Shalom to Lilian's place (had to return to Penang for a funeral)
And the cake survives the journey...
Picture time...Cleo needs her tennis ball to focus, Bibi needs mummy to carry and Shalom needs to be held or else the cream disappears off the cake!
Picture done...
Can we eat the cake now?
Yes yes yes...a slice each or more...though we have some shy ones who only ate when they were home. LOLZ.
And some very hungry and let's forget the diet ones like Mr Lucky codename Fatty.
Miley Cirus is a rescued stray who eats just about anything and everything:D Codenamed longkang dog because Lilian found her there with her puppies:P
Shy Bibi only ate her treats at home:P
Our second furkid Shiloh never made it to the picnic. Too young. Too anti social - hisses and growls:(
