Happy Birthday L'occitane

Flashback...I probably flashed the biggest smile when a shopping mall project that I was working for then had L'occitane on their tenant list. At least I knew I could have access to L'occitane without having to travel overseas to purchase them or trouble my friends to do it for me.

Fast forward and its been 10 years that L'occitane made their presence in Malaysia. Happy birthday L'occitane. Cheers to many more cheery birthdays to come!

A cheery and fun filled birthday party was held on 17th February. While I missed the party since I was still in Hong Kong then, the hubster attended on my behalf and had the cheek to tell me that it was a fabulous and fun filled party. With balloons, yummy food and because it was L'occitane's birthday, there was pampering sessions for everyone. And with every element of fun, guests went home with lovely party bags filled with L'occitane goodies too!

A birthday party is not complete without some fun games and lucky draws. The hubster was in a roll of some sort that week and was one of the few winners of more L'occitane goodies. Awesome maximus!

Here's one of my fave products from the party pack (goodie bag) and lucky draw:D
Another of my fave hand cream is actually by L'occitane. I probably go through a tube every couple of weeks with a tube of such handy travel size kept all over the house, office and bags. Fleur D'or & Acacia is a lovely floral scented one that is not overpowering. With a lil note of citrus, I will confess to sniffing my own hands (and arms) whenever I use this. I know its a hand cream but with all the exposure to the sun when I run, I do go the extra bit of pampering my arms with hand creams too:D
I was introduced to L'occitane's Immortelle Precious Fluid when a Singaporean girlfriend swore that it works magic on her skin. Gave it a try when I spent Christmas and her place...wowzers! It is rapidly absorbed by the skin leaving no traces of oil whatsoever.
3 drops is what I need each morning for my face and neck before I apply my BB Cream. This moisturizing lotion leaves skin matte, firmed and a lovely smooth touch to it. In case you are wondering, “l’Immortelle” in French is a fascinating plant that grows in the Mediterranean island of Corsica. This pretty yellow flower is called “the immortal” because it never fades, even after being picked. Thus its extracts makes it a perfect ingredient for anti aging products.

The L'occitane Sublime Beauty Cream was not part of the party goodies but since I am sharing on L'occitane, I might as well share about my fave BB cream. Am using my second tube of this BB Cream. The product might seem oily upon contact with skin but its actually (again) quick absorbing and gives a relatively good coverage even for my skin tags and open pores. I smooth it one followed with a couple of pats and I am ready to step out of home. SPF30 works fine for me and I only work on a reapplication if I have appointments outside to ensure that I get the necessary sun protection. No need for any loose powder whatsoever if you love a natural coverage.
Love the subtle rose fragrance. It doesn't last but it makes application like a mini aromatherapy session. PS...give it a good shake before you apply!
