Viva la Vida @ Sentidos

I like the Spanish folks. They are colourful and certainly make life all so colourful, fun and delicious too. While I will one day love to visit Spain, for now I shall enjoy some awesome Spanish vibes at Sentidos.

Swing by to Sentidos every Saturday from 8pm to 10pm for a fun filled night of good food, lively music and free flow of selected alcohol. Viva la Vida goes for RM98++ with  a buffet line of both hot and cold dishes. There is also a chalkboard menu that highlights different hot food selections that are prepared upon request. Take your pick of alcohol which includes Tiger draught, red and white house wines and 5 choices of cocktails (caipirinha, caipiroska, margarita, sangria and mojito). Yes, all of it for RM98++ and less if you come with friends (4 pax @ RM90++ each and 6 pax @RM88++ each).

Our faves for the night were of course wine and sangria to accompany our dinner and chatters though I certainly wound't mind the sangria to be less sweet and more potent. Be wary of the addictive guacamole, salsa that go really well with the tortillas and nachos. One could just be stuck having them the whole night and forgetting about the rest of the feast!

I love my carbs more during the weekends because I need the fuel for my long runs. So its loads of paella for me. The seafood paella is highly recommended. Al dente, fragrant saffron and the richness of seafood in every bite.

The buffet bar may not look the big but if you were to walk and have a look, you will realise that its quite an elaborate selection of both hot and cold dishes. The husbter in particular love the freshly baked breads and I suspect that it could well be the smell of the cheese that enticed him plus it was pretty much cooked before his eyes!

The assortment of salads, cerviche and olives kept me happy. Fresh and clean eats, each in delightful sizes so that we can try all and decide on which to have more.

The hot food from the chalkboard are definitely carefully planned. I wouldn't say the variety is wide but its an efficient menu for the kitchen to handle and varied enough to keep diners happy. As they are prepared upon request, there will be a short wait but its all worth it. Our faves were the grilled lamb cutlets. Well marinated, juicy and it will have you wanting more. Another one that went well with us that night were the grilled chorizo, beef meatballs and mushroom longrono.
