Soup is Pappa al Pomodoro. Hearty, thick and comforting classic Tuscany tomato soup. Its an absolutely delicious start to our dinner. Adding a touch of romance, its crispy heart shaped garlic toast to go with the soup!

There are 2 options for appetizer.

Beetroot and Avocado Salad
This is my obvious favourite. Ripe creamy avocado to go with the lightly roasted beetroot. Clean eats made extra delicious and appetizing with Chef's housemade lemon poppy seed dressing. Its zesty and for those who are not fond of beetroot, this sauce does wonder and minimises the earthy taste that some find offensive.

Salmon Tartar
I simply love the clean eats theme that is apparent in this dish too. If you love salmon, then this salmon tartar served on a bed of cucumber and sprouts is highly recommended. No fishy tang to it. A right balance of flavours and textures making it a refreshing option to the usual beef tartar we see in many restaurants. How can one forget its a romantic dinner with the pink heartshaped peppercorn?

3 options for main course - seafood, chicken and fish. Honestly all were good and even though I am not a chicken breast meat fan, I rate the Fagottino Di Pollo the most memorable dish for the night.

Lobster Linguini RM158++
Can't go wrong with pasta in tomato base. Al dente strands of pasta coated with tomato base and bell pepper with a lovely touch of saltiness from anchovies. A good bite from the lobster meat too. I personally like the fact that the bell peppers taste here is subtle.

Fagottino Di Pollo RM138++
Lightly breaded chicken breast stuffed with spinach, taleggio cheese and chicken ham gives flavour to the chicken.  Must say that Spasso Milano must have also cooked the chicken breast meat just right allowing it to stay moist and juicy too.

Baked Herbs Seabass Cartoccio RM148++
A simple looking dish which perhaps lacked colour but its a clear favourite for the hubster and our dining companions. Baked just right allowing the skin to be slightly crispy while the flesh stays tender and juicy with lovely herbs, salt and pepper. Its simple in a glance but baking a fish is really not that simple. Served with assorted vegetable, potato and mushrooms making this a very hearty dish even though the portion looks small.

A choice of 2 desserts - tiramisu and passion fruit tart. We loved them both and both are equally recommended. Different as they are from each other, the 2 do compliment each other very well if you were to share the 2 desserts out.

Tiramisu - sweet, creamy and a lovely end to a meal.

Passion fruit tart is refreshing, slightly tangy and has a lovely dense crust. Perfect end for a meal on a romantic night.

Of course if you are one of those who believe that the celebration of love should be everyday, then its Chef Daniele's 3 course set dinner every night is highly recommended. Priced between RM68 to RM88 for options of pizza, pasta or beef, this is a surprisingly affordable set dinner in the middle of Kuala Lumpur. The ala carte menu is also equally impressive.
