Christmas and New Year 2015: Intercontinental Kuala Lumpur

Year end festivities are always so joyous, colourful and definitely tasty! If you choose to have your Christmas celebrations at Intercontinental Kuala Lumpur this year, you can expect lovely musical accompaniment on selected days. New year celebrations will be complete with lots of sparkles and bubbly options.

The Sparkling Christmas Brunch at Serena Brasserie will be on 25 December 2015 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm is priced at RM268 nett per person while the the Seafood Christmas Buffet Dinner is priced at RM198 nett. Both spreads are complemented correspondingly with a free flow of soft drink and juices at an additional charge of RM30nett or RM150nett for a free flow of wines inclusive of the Italian white wine Prosseco and beers. 

If you like a Chinese influence with your celebrations, then you should consider Tao Chinese Cuisine which will be offering a 6-course Christmas set menu which includes an elegant medley of fish maw, tiger grouper fish roll, smoked lamb cutlet and wholesome meal of marinated hand-pulled noodles. This is available from 24 -26 December 2015 at RM188 nett per person.

My personal favourite with plump succulent scallop and a very appetizing and slightly spicy salsa.

Tatsu Japanese Cuisine whips out a festive 5-Course Set Menu from 24-26 December 2015 at RM188 nett per person. The New Year menu will be available for lunch and dinner at RM188 nett per person on 31st December 2015 to 1st January 2016. Interesting and very Christmas looking dishes that look really fun and cute. Can't complain on taste because our meals at Tatsu has always been memorable and delish.

This pretty garden is my personal favourite from the festive menu. Healthy greens, flowers to go with the delightful salmon and crispy salmon skin.

The festive celebrations go on pretty much from Christmas till New Year. And bearing in mind that some might be nursing a hangover, there will be a Hangover Brunch at Serena Brasserie on 1st January 2016 11am to 4pm at RM88 nett per entry which will include a free flow Bloody Mary complemented by an extensive spread of season's customary favourites. 

This is also a season for gifting. Intercontinental Kuala Lumpur has delicious goodies that make perfect gifts. Assorted homemade Christmas goodies including Christmas pudding with traditional brandy sauce, traditional marzipan stolen, variant flavours of yule log cake, traditional fruit mince pies and panforte are available from RM15 nett.
