12 hours to the flag off of my first attempt at walking 204km KL-Maran Walk. There is no medals, no finisher tee, no glamour, no victory, no podiums awarded etc. Its just a walk. A pilgrimage for the Indians and I am merely tagging along for an experience.
This morning, I peeped at 2 tables having what looked like some form of porridge. A closer glance it did look like pop corn porridge served with some condiments. The name of the dish is Sabuti - a traditional food of the Chin tribe from Myanmar.
Ran in the first MHWH Night Run 2015 on Saturday night. Brilliantly fun and its my much anticipated run after resting for 2 weeks from the sprained ankle.
The heavy rain on Saturday evening did wonders to the current hot spell. Putrajaya was cool for a change. The route was changed from the regular short runs that we are accustomed to. Must say that for a night run, we went through well lighted roads for at least 95% of the time.
Eating healthy does not have to be boring or what people call cow food. Clean eats are actually delicious, colourful and can contain meat if one fancies it. Not too new in town but definitely a popular choice with many of my clean eats buddies is Salad Atelier at The Weld and Intermark. Their food is delicious and definitely affordable!
Love Japanese? Love the cute Japanese dolls? Then head on to Tokyo Street at Pavilion KL for Hinamatsuri 雛祭り. This Japanese Doll Festival runs all the way until 5th April 2015.
We met Chef George Diakomichalis once again for a delicious Greek feast. The first thing I tell him "Good to see you back in town again!". The reason for saying that is because there is no Greek restaurant in Malaysia and this charming chef is back at Prince Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur's Eccucino Restaurant for the 4th consecutive year. Chef George is back for a limited time to whip out a delicious feast of traditional mouth watering Greek cuisines and pastry delights until Sunday 15 March 2015.
Steak lovers in town will definitely be familiar with The Steakhouse at The Whisky Bar in downtown KL. What is there not to love about a place that gets their steaks correct and whips out decent cuts without making a hole in your wallet? Making it even better, this place also serves other non steak items equally as well, making it the perfect dining spot when you have a bunch of dining companions who want to order different things.
