CNY 2016: China Treasures @ KLGCC

China Treasures in KLGCC is not just another restaurant in a golf club. This is one restaurant that churns out good Chinese cuisine just about every visit that we make to this club. Usher in the year of the Fire Monkey at China Treasure with an impressive pork free CNY menu in a just as impressive set up. Book early and you might just be able to secure tables with a good view of the golf course that looks really magnificent during sunset.

Here's some of the dishes that you can savour from the above menus:
Prosperity Yee Sang
Usher in a prosperous year of the Monkey with Prosperity Yee Sang. Delightful juicy goodness that also includes pomelo and fresh cuts of salmon.
Stir Fried Crystal Prawns with Honey Pepper Sauce
Delicious prawn in a sweetish pepperish sauce. Not spicy at all, just pleasant and appetizing.
Crispy Roasted Chicken with Szechuan Pepper Hot Sauce
Crispy skin with juicy well marinated flesh. Awesomeness on its own and if you prefer it a tad spicier, there's always the Szechuan Pepper Hot Sauce that is a refreshing sauce from the usual works.
Steamed Live Seabass with Garlic and Shredded Ginger
My obvious favourite for the night. Live seabass steamed with simple ingredients of garlic, ginger and soya sauce to bring out the natural sweetness and tenderness of this fish.
Braised Black Mushroom with Sea Moss Oysters Roll and Broccoli
A delicious slow braised dish. Love the delicate flavours and textures of fish paste with dried oysters and sea moss. Chewy White Jade Shell and crunchy broccoli for a variety of textures within one dish. Yummilicious!
Yong Zhou Fried Rice
A humble dish and common in our Chinese menu but this is delightful. Fried rice with enough wok hei, fluffy rice, lots of golden eggs, crunchy long beans and prawns.
Deep Fried Sesame Ball and Mochi
Chilled Lo Han Guo with Aloe Vera
A lovely cold and sweet end to dinner. I would have happily said yes to a second bowl if we could have extras!
