Beauty in Unity @ Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

Celebrations for the Festival of Lights, Deepavali kicks off at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. A joyous and colourful celebration with beauty treats and a very pretty kolam at the centre court.

This is no usual kolam and is a collaboration with the students at Raffles College. It was certainly hard work and loads of patience and eye for details involved as the college students pieced together the 2 kolams with an intricate and colourful design to represent the multiracial diversity in Malaysia.
Students putting in the final touches into the kolam. Take note of the lovely shading efforts as well!

Head in also for some cultural performances on 29 and 30 October at at 3pm. There are also some booths with beauty services including nail art, express makeup, henna, hair styling and more for a quick festive doll up. And if you yearn some Indian food, check out Royal India on Level 6. I personally love the briyani there and I heard awesome ravings about their mutton curry!
An amazing work of art and festive fun by the folks at Pavilion KL and students of Raffles College
Gorgeous colours.
Traditional cultural performances and shoppers had fun joining in the fun.

Very ol skool with kacang putih, kerepek and muruku! Yummeh!
